Throughout the world there are Botanical Gardens that feature orchids along with other plants. Below is a listing of some of Gardens that are known for their orchid collections. It is possible that some may offer virtual tours and many of them host Orchid Shows during different times of the year.
If you do visit keep in mind the following: Do not touch the flowers or let your children touch them as this will result in bruising and will blemish a once beautiful flower. Many orchids have fragrances, some are quite delicate so limit cologne or perfumes so you can enjoy them, other orchids can have quite overpowering fragrances so if you have this sensitivity be sure to ask about this. Be sure that your camera or phone is charged up so you can take lots of pictures.
PLEASE NOTE: This listing is based on the 2002 publication of the American Orchid Society titled The Orchid Tourist - An International Guide to Public Orchid Collections therefor the information is not up to date. If you plan on visiting you will need to consult their website, Facebook or Instagram page to confirm whether they are accepting visitors, if you need a reservation, the hours of operation and admission fees.
